Welcome to our Centre

Welcome to Petit Early Learning Journey Pimpama, proudly owned by Guardian Childcare & Education! Our spacious Pimpama childcare centre on the Gold Coast is bright, modern and will quickly become your child’s home away from home.

With expansive, resource-rich indoor and outdoor spaces, children have a safe and secure way to discover the world around them. At our Pimpama early learning centre, there are five beautifully designed learning studios, grouped by age, with a separate sleep room attached to the nursery.

Each of our spaces have high quality, age-appropriate resources for the best play-based learning experiences. Every child is supported in their growth and development, so they can build a lifelong love of learning.

Children at our Pimpama child care centre also have access to:

  • Fresh, nutritious meals and snacks with the best seasonal ingredients, prepared on-site by our very own Chef
  • Nappies, wipes, linen, sunscreen, hats and all snacks and meals
  • Exciting excursions and incursions throughout the year, including Happy Feet Fitness, Little Potters and Nikko Nikko Japanese

Our Petit ELJ Pimpama kindergarten program has a strong focus on social and emotional development. We support children to develop skills to become active and confident learners as they move onto school. This program emphasises play-based experiences but also has more structured learning times for literacy and numeracy skills.

From 1 January 2024 eligible children will receive up to 15 hours of free kindergarten per week at our Pimpama Centre, up to 600 hours per year. This fee support is on top of any Child Care Subsidy eligible families may be receiving.

To take advantage of this additional support children must be at least four years of age by 30 June in the year before they attend Primary School and be enrolled at an approved program for at least 2 days a week. Ask us for more information when you visit our Centre.

We use family communication app Storypark to share important updates, exciting activities or milestones that your child encounters, ensuring that you always remain connected.

If you’re looking to start an exciting learning journey at Petit Pimpama childcare, we’d love to meet you! Book a tour to meet our incredible team and explore our Centre.

Georgina Williams

"I like to provide all children with a safe and welcoming space to be young discoverers of their own learning journey and promoting their sense of agency. I feel that building relationships with families is just as important as it is with the children. Understanding the family's cultural needs and wants for their child's education is imperative in being a successful educator"

Learn More about Our Centre

Guardian Childcare & Education Pimpama offers the warmth and comfort of a family home, located conveniently close to the M1 for families living in Pimpama and the surrounding suburbs of Coomera, Ormeau and Willow Vale. Our Pimpama child care centre is a short drive from local schools in the area – perfect for busy working families.

Our purpose-built outdoor space is accessible from every classroom and has plenty of room in which to run, ride and explore.  The children love playing outside with friends of different ages. We also have a quiet decking space for babies to safely explore the world alongside the older children, which helps to develop their social interaction skills. We believe in embracing our children’s interests and encouraging creative expression, whether that’s individually or collaboratively.

Our spacious Pimpama daycare centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age, supporting them to grow and learn in a safe and secure way. The centre is filled with bright, stimulating materials that encourage children to explore and engage their curiosity to discover more about the exciting world around them.

Children are supported through those important early years to explore and develop their social and emotional skills through their early learning journey by a dedicated team of university-qualified Teachers and Educators. They create learning experiences in a nurturing environment that fosters creativity and imagination in a safe environment for young age groups.

Guardian Pimpama is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm every weekday, so each family are provided with plenty of flexibility for the hours they work and the time they choose to drop off and pick up their child. During drop-off or pick-up times, we encourage you to stay for a little while and get to know our Educators and see our amazing learning spaces and feel part of our wonderful centre community.

Our Educators and Teachers in each age room can provide some understanding of the various play materials and education spaces throughout the Centre to help you discover some ways to continue learning at home. We encourage involving the whole family in their child’s care and education to ensure they are happy as they learn and grow.

Our family communication app, Storypark, provides you with photos and updates on your child throughout the day, offering you the opportunity to stay informed about your child’s early learning and development. We also set up different learning outcomes for the children through Storypark, which supports them in achieving developmental milestones and understanding new ideas.

Our early childhood education program is led by specialist Educational Leaders who guide teaching and learning in a flexible and research-supported way. The leading curriculum supports discovery and gives children the best start to life, as well as being aligned with the National Quality Standards.

For children aged three and four, we have a government-approved kindergarten program led by university-qualified Teachers that can support your child in their preparation for the step up into primary school. Our kindergarten curriculum is based on leading child development research and demonstrates our commitment to providing the best possible start to a child’s life through quality child care services.

Through our high-quality, two-year program, children have the opportunity to learn some of the skills that are often only introduced in early primary school. We begin learning and exploring shapes, numbers and letters through fun, play-based activities in a supportive environment.

We develop each child’s literacy and numeracy skills to help them feel confident and prepared during the leap into primary school. Our high-quality program supports the needs and routines of each of our families, and we ensure each child’s cultural and family background is supported and encouraged.

We’re committed to children’s nutrition, and our on-site cook prepares each meal fresh and packed with all the nutrients that children need at their age. We encourage children to engage in food preparation and to ask questions about where their food comes from, why it’s good for them, and how they can eat it. We also encourage exploration of the cultural heritage behind different foods, helping promote diversity and inclusion from an early age.

As part of our unique Visible Learning Program, families will be able to gain an understanding of their child’s education. Our Learning Exchange Display will provide the opportunity for our Teachers and Educators to share updates on your child’s progress. It will also be a chance for you to have direct input into your child’s learning!
