Pollyann WebbCentre Director
Hi, I’m Pollyann, and I am the Centre Director at our Petit ELJ Burleigh. I started in Early Childhood Education to make a difference. We all know the first 5 years of a child’s life sets the building blocks of growth. My focus is to support not only children but Educators and Families.
The most rewarding aspect of my role is when you see the light in a child’s eye when they have learnt/achieved/made connections with something for the first time. This in turn is also seen when a Educator is supported and makes connections in their own role as a Educator.
I’m looking forward to making connections within the community. To be the center of choice as the stand out service who focus’s on child well being and being School ready.
To all of our families, I am here as your centre support. I look forward to building a relationship with you and your child and there are no silly questions to ask. Through a partnership together we can ensure your child continues to grow through their Developmental Milestones in a safe, fun and stimulating learning environment.

There is a strong focus on children’s social and emotional development to ensure that each child has the skills to become active and confident learners as they move onto school.
Here at Petit ELJ Burleigh, we run a play-based program that stems from the children’s interests, strengths and needs.
We have a keen interest in the importance of families in the children’s kindergarten experience, and we work to nurture the link between home and kindergarten with all the families we meet. We are excited to share with you the learning of your child, and we look forward to the shared experiences of play and fun that we have in each session.

Petit Early Learning is the perfect environment for your little ones. My youngest son attended this childcare for the past 9 months and in that time he has grown in himself so much and I have this wonderful place to thank. I’d like to personally thank Fiona for making everything so easy, no stress ever involved and Miss Katie for being a superstar teacher for my son!!

Reflective practice in child care helps Educators to approach ongoing challenges, situations and ways of doing things. By engaging in critical reflection, Educators are better informed when it comes to making decisions. The relationships children build at child care are at the centre of all learning.
